Welcome to T-Squad’s first Community Blog! We are going on an eleven month trip to the following six countries: Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Romania, Albania, Eswatini, and South Africa. We are partnering with pastors and communities in each country to greater grow in our relationship with Christ, learn from each other, see the beautiful diversity in cultures across the world, and to have conversations about our Savior Jesus! If you want to hear more or get a weekly/bi-weekly update on where our team is and where we are going, you can email me at: [email protected] and I will send you the link to our new blogs as they are posted.
To start us off, I’d love to tell you what our squad is all about. We are T-Squad, and we seek the truth of who God is and who we are to bring Him glory. We treasure Growth, Obedience, Devotion, and the Fruit of the Spirit (Galations 5:22-23). We value sharing testimonies (what God is doing in and around us); resting once a week to remind ourselves our worth is not in our productivity; asking the Lord what He is doing and how we can partner with Him; connecting as a team through fun activities; giving and receiving respectful feedback; and finally, checking in with each other on their Kingdom journeys of abandonment, brokenness, and dependence on God.
